PEI Mussels - Live

Fresh from the waters of Prince Edward Island, our live mussels are sweet, tender, and full of briny flavour. Perfect for sharing, this 5lb bag is ideal for a classic seafood feast or for creating your own signature dish at home.

Cooking Instructions:

• If any mussels appear open, give them a gentle tap. If they close, they’re still safe to cook.

• Place a few centimetres of boiling water in a large pan with a lid.

• Add the mussels, cover, and steam for 3–4 minutes until all shells have opened.

• For extra flavour, replace the water with a bottle of white wine, or add your favourite sauce for steaming.

Enjoy them on their own, tossed with pasta, or served with crusty bread to soak up every last drop of broth.
